Just keep in mind I have seen several garage floors as well as basement floors that have used the epoxy paint system. They don’t look nearly as good as the examples in the link above but they still look good even with boring colors like gray and tan. What sets these cement floors apart from the others is the fact that they used various different color chip flakes. These chip flakes are sprinkled into the epoxy as it is drying and the “real” purpose is to help create adhesion while you walk. Nobody wants a slippery garage floor especially in the winter. Garage Floor Paint: Steps
The steps we will list are a general synopsis of what occurs. Please read the specific products instructions because they will vary from what is listed here:
Step 1: your entire garage floor needs to be cleared. Next would be to use a power sprayer and clean as much of the oil, stains and drips as you can. You can also use a clean concrete profiler. Allow your concrete to sufficiently dry.
