Garage Floor Covers
Nothing
is more simple and easy than to use garage floor covers
to hide ugly floor cracks or to protect your garage floor.
They are cheaper than epoxy and look stunningly beautiful.
You're guaranteed to have the entire neighborhood
envious of your new floors.
The
two types of garage floor covers I am thinking of is either
garage floor tiles or mats. Mats for specific
areas make a lot of sense, but so do floor tiles. The
big difference is the price between the two. Garage
floor mats will be cheaper per sq. ft than garage tiles
but the durability is also a factor.
You
can pick up rubber garage flooring with a 30 year guatantee
versus a 5 year gaurantee for garage mats. If you
divide the 30 years by the 5 years it's no comparison. If
you multiply one garage floor mat 6 times, then the price
of the rubber tiles comes out way ahead.
When
considering garage floor covers also take in mind that any
of the three methods can be a done it when you have the
money tye of thing. Epoxy garage floors need several
coats so it is best to do it all at once, unless you are
patient. With tiles you can simply add on as you go.
Same with garage floor mats.
The
most important aspect of garage floor coverings is the fact
that they protect your floors and they can also work as
containment item. People living in snow country love
containment mats because the snow melt is trapped on the
mats or tiles without leaking all over the floor. It
keeps your garage clean and safe.
Both
the garage mats and garage tiles work well at protecting
your floors from battery acid, anti freeze, water, oil and
other road grim. They are both suseptible to rocks,
gravel and other hard objects but what isn't?
